Is there an official listing of the contents of the second Silly Symphonies boxset/tin coming later in the year?

I don't even think it's official that such a set is coming.

At this point, 95% of what you hear about Disney Treasures wave 5 and beyond is just Internet dreams.

Silly Symphonies 2 has been rumored for about 2 years and has not shown up yet. I do believe the Disney Treasures line will continue in a December release pattern, but we don't have anything definite on the titles. I think Silly 2 will show up at some point, but we have no hard evidence that this year is it. Disney usually has some info out in the summer for big winter releases, so I'd expect the same deal this year.

SS2 was always just Internet hope and fantasies. Nothing much more than that.

Am I saying it will never be released? No it probably will sooner or later but there has been nothing remotely official yet.

Class has always shot down my SS2 Wave 5 idea...and I think he's right.

Since we're talking about fantasy scenarios, post your ideal Wave 5 picks.

Silly Symphonies Volume 2
Donald Duck Volume 2
True Life Adventures
Miscellaneous toons tin (with stuff like Chip and Dale, etc.)

On our forum, 'dizfan' reports that Dave Smith, founder of the Walt Disney Archives and author of Disney A to Z, revealed last night at a Disneyland Q & A that this December's fifth wave of Walt Disney Treasures DVDs will include a volume titled Disney Heroes. 'MPeriolat' echoes the mention and indicates that this set will contain some of "Swamp Fox", Disney's late '50s mini-series which starred Leslie Nielsen as Revolutionary War figure Francis Marion.

In addition to a second Donald Duck set and True Life Adventures, I'd also like to see a set devoted to early Walt Disney World, similar to what the Disneyland set was like from wave 1.

I'd love to see the opening day specials of WDW (with Julie Andrews, Glen Campbell, and Bob Hope) and the opening day special of EPCOT Center's opening with Danny Kaye and Drew Barrymore. Might also be fun to see some cheesy eps of "Wonderful World of Disney" featuring the mid-70s Mouseketeers at WDW too, but mostly programs about the history of WDW would be my ideal on this set.... Pipe dream, I know....
