Anybody know if Sergeant York will ever be on DVD?

I LOVE that movie and the fact that it's a true story! Sure would like to see it on DVD. I have a VHS copy but an update would be nice. Anybody know any news about it?

warner is very aggressive in releasing their classics so I bet it is in their plans . It may have to do with restoring the film and producing supplements. Or maybe they want to do a gary Cooper signature collection like they have done with Errol Flynn.

from barry maxwell at the bits

short and sweet

Other Warner news and rumours include current work on Sergeant York (1941) and The Fountainhead (1949) [both with Gary Cooper] for release in 2006
