I think they figured people wouldn't notice, as the actual time between the airing of the last episode and Peacekeeper Wars was pretty long. For those of us who watched them back to back on DVD, it was very apparent (as was the change to Pilot's voice, even though it was still the same actor).

But what I wouldn't give for a deluxe and complete Farscape collection, with all the bells and whistles.
