Anyone else having a problem with "A kiss is just a Kiss"? It will not play for me from the main menu or from the scene selection menu.

On a side note, I loved "Out of their Minds"! One of my favorite episodes so far.

Volume six comes out today. Amazon has Volume 7, the first volume of season 3, up for preorder for 12/13.

Amazon is listing Volume 6 (2.3) as 4-6 week ship. Does that imply there has been a delay on that volume? Or just that initial stock is depleted?

Also, my pre-order with DDD has not shipped.

Is anyone finding/receiving this one yet?

So, uh.....has anyone found 2.3 yet?
Still nothing from DDD and none of the Best Buy's have it yet either (which is not surprising).

Here is an update for Season 3 volume 1 that I found at Amazon:

New packaging for the Farscape Starburst Collection Series, October 16, 2005
Reviewer: J. Whitford (Falls Church, VA USA) - See all my reviews

Numerous fans complained that the first six Farscape Starburst Collection 2-sided DVDs skipped, got stuck or did not play well at all.

Beginning with the Season 3, Collection 1 (Starburst Edition) ADV Films will package 4 one-sided DVDs in each package, rather than 2 two-sided DVDs in each set.

No word on whether or not they will re-issue Farscape Starburst Collections 1 and 2 in the 4 DVD format.

Sounds great, but I wish the had started like this. I hate flippers!

I sure hope they stick with the standard size keepcases so they match the previous volumes.

I read at Tvshows that the cases will still be the same size.

Picked up 3.1 at Best buy this past Tuesday. 4 discs and the case is a bit bigger. the discs are layered on either side of the case like the Pink Panther discs. There was an insert, but it was just loose in the case.

I already own the first two season box sets of Farscape and just have two quick questions regarding the Starburst discs, (which I plan on picking up at some point due to the new special features).

1) Is there any chance that once all of the Starburst volumes are released they will be put into a mega series box that way Buffy, Friends and Sex and the City were?

2) On the season 1 Starburst disc that contains the episode "Durka Returns", does that stupid symbol still pop up in the middle of the episode that takes you to Chiana discussing her action figure? I only ask because it was utterly distracting and I could not find a way to turn it off.

Thanks!

No inside info here, but I would guess that there will be some kind of boxset at the end.

I did not notice any pop up during that episode.

By the way, my copy of 3.2 shipped on Wednesday.

Has anyone watched all the special features in the Starburst sets and can you recommend any of them as 'must see'? I don't really feel like going through all the disc 4's right now.

The Farscape facts and Chronicles are very interesting to me. The cast interviews are also very food. The interview with Virginia Hey (Zhaan) is really good. She goes into detail on why she made some of her "decsions".

I FINALLY finished watching this series over the weekend. I have to say that making it through to the end was a struggle as I had pretty much lost interest by season 4. But, the last 4 episodes and mini-series really pulled me back into it. So much so that now I kind of miss it.
Oh well, now I can start checking out the special features

Really? I found parts of season 2 really difficult to get through, but season's 3 and 4 were incredible to me. I really do miss these characters. Hopefully the upcoming webisodes will get made and they will lead to some kind of revival.

One thing I didn't understand. The woman who was helping the scarran dude torture Aryn in the last few episodes was a sebatian, but in the miniseries she was one of those people with the fold-out faces. WTF was that about?

Yeah, I think they just reused the same actor and hoped no one would notice. There were several other people who played multiple characters during the series as well (like Ben Browder's wife).

I figured that's what it was. It's just weird because the 2 characters are shown so close timeline-wise. I could understand if they made her an alien where you couldn't tell it was the same actress, but it is plain as day. Was she that good of an actress that they couldn't employ one of the other thousands of actresses looking for work at the time?
