I'm not only talking about the best film released on DVD, but the best overall presentation... film, video, audio, extras, etc. |
Voted Leon.

Plus a double/triple dip title like Leon needs to be really special to warrant votes. It isn't. |
It comes down to Fifth Element:UE vs Predator 2:SE.
Great Movies,Great Picture,Great Audio,Great Extras. Hmmmmmm.... I'll get back to ya. |

Metallica: Some Kind Of Monster
For the low price and great picture quality and extras, I'll go with Beastmaster Divimax! -biggrin-
I'm the other guy that voted for Leon.
Sky Captian. Surprisingly good flick, great extras, wonderful transfer.
out of those choices, another vote for Leon: The Professional
Another vote for Warner Bros. Gangsters Collection, by far the best and most important DVD release (IMHO) of January, and very likely to be on many "Top Ten DVDs of 2005" lists at the end of the year.

Another vote for Gangster's collection.
Another vote for Warner Gangsters Collection.
Although I really did enjoy the new Leon and Fifth Element editions. Both would be a close 2nd if I could vote for more than one. |
Leon
One vote for Criterion's "Casque d'Or" - an amazing presentation of a Becker classic. (Already had the region2 Fifth Element or that might have been it)
1) FIFTH ELEMENT: Deluxe Edition
2) PREDATOR 2: Special Edition 3) PRINCE: SIGN "O" THE TIMES [Canadian Exclusive] (not because the DVD is loaded, but just because I was starting to think this title would never see the light of day!) |
Here is an update on write in votes:
Warner Bros. Gangster Collection - 7 Metallica: Some Kind Of Monster - 1 Casque d'Or (Criterion) - 1 Bad Education (Pedro Almodovar) - 1 Beastmaster (Divimax) - 1 Predator 2 (Special Edition) got a couple of second place votes... but no first place votes as of yet. |
Another vote for Leon followed by the new SE's of Predator 2 and The Fifth Element
Another vote for the WB Gangsters Collection Boxset.
Gangsters Collection box. No question.
It's all about the Gangsters, see.
Warner Gangster Collection
If I had to pick a single title from that set, I would pick White Heat. |
