The List of Numbered and Limited DVD for Region 1
Just wanted to put these in one place for all the treasure hunters....please feel free to add to this list. This is for Region 1 Only. If anyone wants to do a outside region 2 i would be glad to link it. Similar threads have been closed in the past due to people just listing the numbers they have...That is not what this is for. Share stories, and discuss the merit of numbered vs non numbered...but please don't turn this into the lets list my dvd's thread. Enjoy.
LittleFuzzy also did a great thread on Limited titles that can be found right here It does no include numbers, but is a good source for those on the hunt.

If you are including music DVDs then George Harrison's Concert for Bangladesh has a numbered limited edition. I can't find out what the print run was right now but the packaging says it is numbered.
I also have quick question. Is the actual number going to matter to collectors? I was surprised when I opened (I realise that opening it will matter more to most collectors) my Tommorrowland treasure tin that it was # 200. I thought it was weird that such a low number considering I live in a pretty small place.

Thriller: A Cruel Picture Limited Edition (25,000)
Misty Mundae: Girl Seduction (20,000)
Also noticed that a few of the Anchor Bay "Limited Edition" releases had different numbering used on the Canadian dvds (also Region 1) so I'm not sure you want to include them but, the Army of Darkness LE 2-disc set had only 15,000 released I think. I have also seen a few copies of the Suspiria LE dvd at Best Buy last year when they had them on sale and some confusion over some stating 60k (U.S.) and others saying 40k or 45k (Canada) can't remember which.

Having said that, I have a copy of Scott McCloud's Zot! Volume 1 LE that is #500/500. I think that's kind of cool because everytime I see it I imagine McCould signing it and saying "Thank God that's over!"

Blue Underground's Christopher Lee Collection boxset was limited to 7,500 numbered copies, although the films are available individually in unlimited quantities.
