"Six Feet Under" Season 3 on 3/15?
Did a search for this topic and couldn't find anything yet. I saw that someone was taking advance orders for "Six Feet Under" Season 3 on Ebay with a street date of 3/15. I wrote the seller for more information and they responded (below). Can anyone else confirm?
"Is this a bootleg? Only asking because I can't find any info on this DVD anywhere else. Including HBO.com, Amazon.com, etc. If not, where did you find the street date?"
Not its legitimate - we only sell legitimate studio released DVDs. I got the details from my distibutor's catalog. You're right though nobody else has even announced it. SCOOP! This morning I emailed www.tvshowsondvd.com to let them know.

It could be correct, becuase I remembering hearing that HBO wanted to release the fourth season before season 5 (The Final One) starts...

Nothing is listed by Warner for this, so I assume the date is probably incorrect. I suspect it's probably coming soon, but a May or June date seems much more likely.

edit: woops, was already posted.
ah well, looking forward to this. anyone think they'll ever re-release the first season with the new style box? im a perfectionist and i hate how s1 is a different size box than season 2 (and im assuming all remaining seasons of it.)

I've been eagerly anticipating any news on this release, since I finished watching Season 2, during the summer. I rented the first and second seasons, based on recommendations, and loved both seasons. I hope that this news is true; I think that's around the time that I'm out of school, for a week, so I'll spend a lot of time watching this over that break.

As far as packaging for the season 1 box being a different size than season 2, if they do reformat the box I won't be dropping another 70 or 80 dollars just to make it look better on the shelf. Something like I Love Lucy Season 1 I would replace, but not Six Feet Under for a difference in box size.
