Will G.I. Joe ever be fully released on DVD?

As of right now, we have all of season 1 and Season 2, Part 1.

What is taking so long with the rest of this series? Will it be released eventually?

I haven't heard anything since this thread:

I think there is some dispute over selling the rights to the show. I think we will eventually get the full series, but not sure if it will be the full season 2 or just part 2. Those of us who have already purchased season2, part1, might be screwed into re-buying the full season.

Thanks for the info. I did try a search before I started a new thread, but thanks to the 4 letter minimum, I got no responses.

That makes me VERY ANGRY considering I got season 2 part 1 for Christmas, and I would feel bad to have to discard it due to some crap like this.

I'm pretty hopefully that we'll get Season 2 Part 2 within the year.

If whoever has the liscense makes me double dip like that, then they can go sit and spin on it. While I would buy the remainder of the second season, I'm not so much of a Joe die hard that I couldnt go without getting them. 1.5 seaons (plus miniseries) will give me my fix whenever I need.

Last I heard was that Rhino was looking to make the final installment something really special, hence the delay.

I hope this is true....wish the toy commercials could find their way in there.

When does the Rhino liscence expire?

I think we're up the proverbial feces creek without a paddle.

Like Alpine, Bazooka, and Quick-Kick on that block of iceberg they used as a raft!!!

I'm pretty sure that Rhino's license for GIJOE ran out at the end of 2004.

Last I heard, they were hoping to get the second part out by the end of 2004, but it didn't happen. Don't think it's going to happen now, as Hasbro seems to be in bed with Paramount. (Venom Vs Valor movie, the real-action movie in production, etc..)

Awwww. Rhino how could you drop the ball like this? All you had to do was put out one more 3 disc set and I would have been happy. Now I feel so used and abused.

At least I can enjoy the music of Cold Slither whenever I like.
At least I have that much.
