This is great news. We all knew WB would be releasing these in time to promote Batman Begins, and I cannot wait. The first film is one of my favorite films of all time, and I've had to endure without it in my DVD collection for 6 years. Knowing WB, this will probably be a similar deal to their other recent boxsets, where the titles are made individually available, or in a box, at a discounted price. While I didn't enjoy the non-Burton films as much, I'll be getting the boxset the minute it's available for preorder!

I like all 4,but 4 I am biased to because of Arnold. 4 is one of the worst movies of all time tho lol .

It better have the Joker Commercials,Documentarys,Prince Batdance Video,Extended Batman Forever,Deleted Scenes. Maybe release these seperate as 2-Discers,and then have a Alien Quadrilogy like set, with a exclusive Box Set Disc(or 2). I want 2 Discs on each. Maybe a Alien 3,but even better bashing of Batman & Robin.
I really hope they release it June 14th. But is Batman On Film a reliable source? I don't wanna sell my Legacy set, unless I'm sure....

I think I'm the only one that actually thought all three sequels are better than the original. Now I'll finally have the movies in my collection!

I liked Forever and the extended cut is what I'm most looking forword to. I am too much of a completist so I will probably get all 4, even though Batman & Robin is terrible. I still have BM&R on Vhs... and it is still in the shrinkwrap!

The only thing I liked about Batman & Robin was Alicia Silverstone. I had a big crush on her back then when I was in high school.
Say I was wondering, why is it that Batman and Robin's suits have rubber nipples, yet Batgirl's doesn't? If anyone should have nipples on their costume, it should've been hers!!!

And people question the homoerotic subtext of Schumacher's Batman.

Oh fo' shizzle!

Definitley buying this. First 2 are classics and Forever was still great I thought. But I never saw all of Batman & Robin... doesn't matter though, this set sounds awesome.

Yeah, I'm pretty fond of Batman Forever. I like the Burton's first Batman but I like Batman Returns less. It's got a certain turn off factor much like Batman Forever. What Returns has for dark and twisted, Forever replaces with loud and over the top. I'd rank them about the same.

Although I'd have to say Burton's original is the best of the four, "Forever" is definitely the second best of the bunch. It's the only one where we get any real character arc involving Bruce Wayne. The others are all about the villians first and foremost. Batman as a character always deserved better than all this. Let's hope Christopher Nolan is actually making about Batman for a change.

Best Batman feature film of all time = "Batman - Mask of the Phantasm". If they'd release an SE of that, then I'd REALLY be happy. As it stands, I'll buy all four live action SEs, I just hope they do a great job with them.

Oh man, the transfer on Phantasm is god-awful! A SE would be fantastic.

I would KILL for a gritty animated version of The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller. It is definitely the best comic book I've ever read.

I am so waiting for a Mask of the Phantasm SE! I watched it again the other night and the transfer is okay, but could use some cleaning up, but the Stereo Surround track is really quite excellent. I'd much rather have a SE of MotP rather than those shit live action films. Rubbish...all of em.

The last Batman: TAS DVD set will have just that. Of course, it's only about five minutes worth of stuff, but it's probably the highlight of the entire series.

Indy, I highly recommend the Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker Uncut version. It has a flashback scene that is truly incredible. Miller come to life!

Batman the original is the best. And I too would like a SE of MoTP. And I too recommend Batman Beyond:Return of The Joker Uncut. Can't wait for these. Let me just say WB,DON'T SCREW THIS UP! Make a 9 or 10 Disc Set of Batman goodness,or in B&R Cheesy badness, but still 9 or 10 Discs!

The last one was the only one I really didn't like but I, like a few others, did enjoy Forever.

I'll give Shumacher credit for at least trying to put the focus on Wayne/Bats in Batman Forever, but the rest of it is unforgiveable, this goes for Burton too. Chubby Joker dancing around to Prince... *Shudder*

The ice made his nipples hard so they poked through the costume. The codpiece is to protect his Batjunk, in case he slips on the ice.
