I would LOVE Netflix friends! Some of my "RL" friends got their free trial from me, so hopefully I can have my older friends and then lots of new friends who are also addicted to film and DVD.

I've rated 1052 movies/TV shows (as of now) and I'm into all genres and all languages, I only "judge" a film on a movie to movie basis.I'm working as a film researcher right now and am trying to work up film editing and I'd love to spend the rest of my life as a film historian. I'm anything but a film snob though, Hitchcock, Doris Day, Truffaut, Resident Evil, Fuller, Gilliam, Argento and Buster Keaton are all happily sharing my shelves.

Just bumping this to see if anyone else wants in. I always like seeing what my fellow dvdtalkers thought of various movies and I have gotten some good recommendations for films I might never have seen (such as The Tunnel).

So I got my first three DVDs today, and I watched them all! I am ready to send them back and get my next three, now I know I will probably get throttled sooner or later, but
I am currently enjoying the service. I am always up for suggestions for movies through the friends list. I have reviewed a couple. I can tell that netflix is going to regret my subscription, but oh well, no complaints here
