mzupeman2 01-03-05 06:08 AM

Absolutely pathetic.

MikeDeN2K 01-03-05 08:23 AM

wow, 3 copies of timecop for 18.88

roger_d 01-03-05 08:31 AM

That is so wrong.

marty888 01-03-05 08:38 AM

But hey, you get it in both full-screen and widescreen, so it's actually eight movies!

Shagrath 01-03-05 08:57 AM

Well, back when this first came out, there was a poll in this thread, and it looks like a couple dvdtalkers picked up all 5 of them (including Mr. Brown). Some of us are really completists about certain things, and needed to have them all, I guess. As for me, I just have Mr. White.

HAHAHHAHAHHA You gotta love Cartman

Tarantino 01-03-05 03:25 PM

I'm Tarantino's biggest fan, but I only bought one DVD...the Mr. Brown cover, of course.

surfingelectrod 01-03-05 03:25 PM

I bought the generic one. >_>

joliom 01-03-05 03:41 PM

I tossed out my slipcover.

Fok 01-03-05 05:24 PM

That's pretty sad

shawagg 01-03-05 05:53 PM

Well at least Walmart tells you flat out that all the content is the same.

IDrinkMolson 01-03-05 06:01 PM

South Park did it!

That was in the Walmart South Park episode. Why are you buying 3 copies of the same movie? It's cheaper.

It's actually 8 of the exactly same movie, and 4 exactly the same discs!

The Mr. Brown cover was known from the very beginning as a limited edition cover.

natevines 01-03-05 07:44 PM

I thought the same thing back when it came out. Honestly, who the hell would shell out the money for that? It's a damned scam. I guess these purported 'collectors' would lay down money for any crap the companies produce, as long as it matches the rainbow. Suckers.

Oh ya?! Biggest fan huh? My wife just gave birth to our first child 2 months ago... a son, and his name shall be called...
Quentin. :)

I still only bought the Mr. Brown version though.

MasterofDVD 01-04-05 12:40 AM

Interesting set. I guess they do anything to sell product.

Personally I bought the Mr. Pink version.

Dabaomb 01-04-05 12:51 AM

I have both the Mr. Brown & the Mr. Blonde. I was only gonna buy the Mr. Brown but I got the Blonde cuz Michael Madsen and the cop who got his ear cut off was autographing it at FYE in NYC.
