It's good to suck!

What's the street date on those Sidious vs. Yoda figures?

Amazon has them up now and says 2-3 days shipping but I guess their info is wrong. I've had it pre-ordered from them since April 7th and they said the release date was April 15th. Most people seem to think the release date for these is June 20th. Can't wait to pick up this fig.

I've got Vader, ROTJ Luke, Slave Leia, Mace Windu, Grievous, and ROTS Obi and Anikan. The only other ones I really want are Padme, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Clone Trooper, and the new Sidious vs. Yoda.

See, I'd rather just see HTs and DVD Collections than figures and toys and what not.. that's just me. Would a separate thread be so bad? One with movie memorabilia, etc.?

Without:

With the glass:

And locking mechanism.

Kiddie/Family movies and video games on the open bottom shelf, most everything else locked up behind glass.

Nice. How much did glass doors cost you?

Thanks! I posted when I originally built the shelves back in the fall, probably 2 or 3 threads back.

First thing I have ever built. Needless to say I am pretty proud of it and love the way it turned out.

Cost:
Wood and materials: around $200
Sliding glass doors: $189

Pretty expensive. But when I first thought about doing it, I almost balked at the original $200. But the more I thought about it, and I layed it out to see what it would hold (850-950 single dvds), the more I realized it was a pretty good price for that amount of storage. Not to mention it is custom, not some shelving I am settling with from a store. Plus I wanted something off the floor, away from children, and the dog.

Add in the glass to cut down on dust and dog hair. Also the lock keeps the kiddies away from the non G-rated fare. Solid parenting right there. My wife liked the idea.

In all it is a great show piece.

Finally started painting the "theater" room in the background of the top pic. I will post those the farther it gets along.

There is a little button above the post when you are creating it that says "insert image" when you mouse over it.

looks like this

or you can use the img tags [img] before image and [/img] at the end.

On my website I break down each of the items on the shelves and provide links, just in case you want the stuff too.

Hey guys. It's been a long time since I posted in one of these threads and I've moved since the last one. Here's an updated pic of the DVDs. Stereo equipment and TV soon to follow (sorry, batteries died!).
