But sometime in the near future, I think I'm going to convert them to Ric Easton's Captain set.

as well as the same for my DS9 and VOY sets:

I'm already using his customs for my Star Trek movies cases

As seen by this pic:

Distract me how? I consider it more of a social computer and usually only use it when people are over or during poker night. Otherwise I just use my laptop so I can watch TV at the same time
. I use it to play music, vidoes, show pictures (thats what the iPod photo is for too) and surf the web when needed. It works great, I just wish I had a better TV, so I could make use of the DVI connection. I'm havaing a hard time getting rid of the TV cuz I loves CRT's so much and it fits so nicely in the nice but shitty stand.
And regarding Showgirls, it was like $19.99 at Fry's, and a great conversation piece.

Where do you get your storage shelves? I'm looking for something cheap, bookcase-type thing. Any actual bookcases that I've seen are so deep that the DVDs would have to be pushed halfway back.

Jpws6, I'm very impressed with the quality of the TV. I've had it for about two and a half months now and there hasn't been a moment of disappointment. Actually, the TV has performed much better than I expected. The HD channels look absolutely incredible. I always thought that while the TV may look wonderful in the store, I'd never get it to look that good at home. Low and behold, it was as easy as running the cable into the TV and popping in my CABLEcard.
f you're going to look for plasmas, I'd really consider you taking a look at the line Sony has. Plus, if you do your homework you probably can get it for a really good price.

Finally got around to taking at least a few pics. Enjoy.
Here is the front portion of my secondary (non-reviewing) setup:

And here is one section of the DVD collection (most of the TV-on-DVD and a few other box sets are on the other side of the room on shelves...pics of those another time):

Hope you all enjoy them...
