OK, finally got some updated pictures. Wanted to wait till my latest shipment arrived.

Here's the whole rack:

And now for some close-ups:

First, the upper left corner which contains some sci-fi/fantasy/horror films and cop action dramas and just some general action/adventure stuff.

Next up is the upper center which contains my life-action comic book films, and some other sci-fi stuff. Then one the bottom shelf has historical period pieces arranged more or less in chronological order starting with ancient Greece stuff up through the Napoleonic era. Then of course the Jack Ryan series.

And then finishing out the top portion, in the top right segment we have my Westerns and my Asian/Samurai films like CTHD, Hero, Musa-The Warrior, Warriors of Heaven and Earth, and then soon to be added House of Flying Daggers. The bottom shelf contains mostly war films. The brown covers are a set from a custom site in the "War Collection" Right now I have most of the Vietnam and Civil War films in these covers. I've got more downloaded for most of my other war films, but they eat up a lot of color ink.

Now with the middle section we get into my TV collection. First off I've got the Star Trek - CE collection with Ric Easton's custom covers. Then I've got the first two seasons of Andromeda showing there. The bottom shelf contains a few box set collections of single seasons or movie collection like Aliens, Matrix, BSG and Band of Brothers. I only have the first season of 24 so far because I got it when Amazon had their First Season sale. I'll get the following seasons eventually. Of course, you can see my Indy, Crow, and Sniper collections.

Next segment shows the continuation of my Andromeda collection, along with the beginnings of the Farscape Starburst collection. The bottom shelf, of course, shows my LOTR-EE collection along with the first 5 seasons of Stargate SG-1.

The last segment in the middle of my shelf shows some misc. box sets or custom movie packages. I've got Tour of Duty S1 and S2, the Die Hard collection, the Jurassic Park collection, Black Hawk Down Deluxe Edition, Master and Commander, Robocop Trilogy, Rambo, Shogun, etc. The shelf below shows the remaining Stargate seasons along with the complete Beastmaster series.

Next up is the bottom segments. First is the far left segment which contains my Babylong 5 and Star Trek TNG collections. The bottom shelf holds all my snappers which includes my Steven Seagal collection including the few Seagal movies in regular keepcases.

The middle lower segment has the rest of my Star Trek collection with DS9 and VOY. The bottom shelf holds my CGI animated stuff like Roughnecks, Shadow Raiders, and Beast Wars. And as you can see, the Batman and Superman TAS sets.

And then finally the lower right segment which contains my Anchor Bay releases of Highlander, Hercules, and Xena.

Now Full House, that's a different story. I won't let my kids watch that until they're at least 37.

The spines on your Star Wars, Terminator and LOTR DVD's look awesome. Can you take pictures of the covers?

Sure thing. In fact, I thought someone might ask that. Give me some time, I'll have a pic or two up before the day's out.

Star Wars covers, basically using original poster art.

Terminator covers using a metallic look. LOTR covers using just slightly modified original covers.

I'll add the back shots shortly.

The backs as promised:

They have been available for a while, but since the dvdca fiasco, most people don't post links in the open. Look in the cover art forum and you should be able to figure out where.

Those customs are very nice. The Star Wars & Terminators especially are real classy.

Exactly. The site I got them from shall remain nameless for that very reason.

We went with a dark blue and are quite happy with the results. Here's a pic of it. If interested, the color is called Planetarium (by Olympic). This picture makes it look lighter than it really is.

Once we get our 2 new posters framed and up, I'll be posting the complete series of pics.

The Collection

Hey Everyone,

I am a newbie here but wanted to share my collection with you all. There are one more of the sections located on each end of the wall.

What sort of Star Trek: The Next Generation cases are those?
Those look really cool. Are they custom, some other region, or is Paramount releasing them in those new cool new packages?
