That one's due out in late September, right? Does anybody know if they've finished filming these segments yet? If not, they're going to be pushing it really close if they're trying to have these releases coincide with one another...

Nice to see this thread as I just got the original via the DDD sale. I'll probably watch it this week, but I checked out the first few minutes and I can only hope that not ALL the people asking questions are as creepy or obnoxious as the first few I saw.

I don't know if this helps much, but there's an evening with Kevin Smith scheduled for November 21, 2005 in Calgary (that's in Canada...). Strange thing is, it's the ONLY date scheduled in all of North America (check ticketmaster.ca and ticketmaster.com).

Wow, I hope that's not for the DVD. If it is, we're looking at a 2006 release...

I'll give him all the money he wants. I'd buy as many of these releases as they pumped out, as long as they remained as funny, informative, and entertaining as the first.

Unfortunately, that's the trend for the questions. A few good ones but for the most part Smith's fans have the IQ of Jason Mewes.

That being said, the stories he tells makes up for the idiots. Especially the Superman story at the end of disc one and the Prince story on disc 2.

I played the original in the background as I was working on one of my client's sites the other night. It was worth the purchase for the Jon Peters and Prince stories in my opinion. BUT, damn do I wish I could just bitch slap the "typical" Kevin Smith fan. I love the man, but it's so hard to come out and say it for fear of being put in the same pool as some of these people (check out his web board for a real scare).

The Prince story is classic.

Can't wait for another DVD.

I stop by his message board every once in a while and the last I heard it would be sometime before Christmas.

I was at the Indiana University taping, which is featured quite a lot on the first DVD. Unfortunately they didn't use the version of the Price story he told at the IU taping for the DVD. It was far longer, funnier and even more insane.

Can´t wait for this...I´ve seen it too many times to count, and I still love it. I also listen to it on my mp3 at work :)

sorry for deviating from thread topic, but how did you make an mp3 out of that?

I used a program called DVD Audio extractor. It extracts the audio from each chapter and makes a track accordingly...great program...
