Yay! Sometimes it pays to be pokey.

I won't double dip on this one. I love the movie, but I rarely even watch extra's once for most films. Given that the movie disc is identical (i.e. it's not a case where the first release wasn't anamorphic or something) no need for me to upgrade.

I'm glad I decided not to buy it, expecting another release to follow shortly.

[QUOTE=shawagg]In this particular case: I don't see how you guys can complain about a double dip. It was announced when the 1disc came out. They didn't spring this on you. We had the choice to wait or buy because we had all the information.QUOTE]

Exactly it....same thing is going to happen with man on fire, and jersey girl....they told everyone about it when the first release came out

See above. I don't care, but they didn't annouce this one at first. It was a good bit afterwords, and then was first announced as just the same release with the soundtrack cd included, rather than a 2nd disc of extras.

thanks for the replies guys. i dont think i will double dip on this one, i love the movie but it doesnt seem like enough extra stuff on there for me to spend another 20 on this film. if it was a directors cut or gift set it would be a different story.

good thing I forgot to buy the regular version.

ryuryu2949 12-28-04 09:20 PM

i have an unopened copy of the original, might try and return it back to Tower where I got it... paid an arm and a leg for it (29.99) but I was using store credit.
