Will they ever bring back the Pulp Fiction 1 disc?

I would like to have both editions for my collection.

Me007gold 12-23-04 09:20 PM

ill trade you my copy.

shawagg 12-23-04 09:21 PM

Hmmm, if you don't mind my asking, why? Are they different in anyway?

Also, I can sell it to you if you're interested.

Cameron 12-23-04 09:21 PM

Actually (used or new) the single copy in going for more than the Collector's Edition (2 disc) set ... go figure.

Cameron 12-23-04 10:09 PM

not here i see copies for 6-7 bucks a piece all the time...cd wherehouse great escape and so on....what would be on it to make it more expensive

GuyverX 12-23-04 10:30 PM

So...what's the whole point of owning the bare bones edition? Just collectibility?

Drexl 12-23-04 10:50 PM

Are you talking about the original non-anamorphic disc, or just the first disc of the 2-disc set?

shawagg 12-23-04 11:27 PM

I'm pretty sure he means the old one... with the movie poster on it and 10 cents mark.

Jackskeleton 12-23-04 11:39 PM

but... why?

Fok 12-23-04 11:41 PM

I've seen the original one for dirt cheap, not quite sure why you'd want it.

speedyray 12-24-04 07:09 AM

If you are collecting for collectings sake, I have the Laserdisc I can trade you.

Willh51 12-24-04 09:02 AM

I may be getting this confused with Reservoir Dogs, but isn't there an easter egg on one of the old dvds that has a nice featurette?

Definitely not for 'Pulp', but I've never heard of it for 'Dogs' either. However, there are those who argue that the old version of 'Dogs' is preferable, either because of the differences in the transfer or because of a few lines of audio which are lost and/or screwy on the most recent 'Dogs' disc.

Oddly enough, in Canada I still see the old one disc Alliance version in stores more often than I see the 2 disc set. It's not OOP apparently, and not cheap either. Don't know who would buy it at this point.

This is an orangeguy thread. I doubt it's a real question.

Jackskeleton 12-24-04 03:14 PM

You make a valid point there donnacha

Kind of getting sick of guessing whether or not threads or questions are real nowadays on here. It's not like I can see someone cracking a joke or not on a computer.
