"12 Monkeys" is one of my favorite films but I haven't been able to get a DVD of it yet... So that's great news. "The Deer Hunter," "The Sting," "Casino," and "To Kill a Mockingbird" will also be must-buys (as long as the release is good, of course.)

If the Jerk isn't widescreen this time, then I hope all the suits at universal buy themselves some optigrabs and go permanently crosseyed...but this is great news, One of my favourite movies of all time!!!! Some very decent reissues on that list!

An impressive list. Let's hope that the tv shows are not butchered and all the films are OAR (especially Sting).
Will be picking up:
Alfred Hitchcock Presents (season 1)
A-Team (season 2)
Back to the Future (SE) (maybe on this one, see if it is worth a DD)
Casino (Anniversary Edition)
Columbo (season 2)
Knight Rider (season 2)
Kojak (season 1)
Las Vegas (seasons 1 and 2)
Leave it to Beaver (season 1)
Magnum PI (season 2)
Meet the Fockers
Miami Vice (season 1)
Murder She Wrote (season 1)
The Big Lebowski (SE)
The Deer Hunter (SE)
The Jerk (SE)
The Sting (SE)

First, keep in mind that this is Universal. Half of these titles won't even come out. Ever.
Second, no one's asking the question, even though everyone seems excited about it. *What* Alfred Hitchcock Presents is this? The original? Or the 1980s re-do?

This is nice to know but it is Universal, so they'll manage to screw most of these up or never release them. At least I can still hope for more updates on...
It's about damn time on these:
Casino (Anniversary Edition)
The Deer Hunter (Special Edition)
The Jerk (Widescreen? SE)
The Sting (Widescreen? Special Edition)
Other good stuff to consider:
To Kill A Mockingbird (SE)
Coal Miner's Daughter (Anniversary Edition)
The Big Lebowski (SE)
Thanks for the post.

forgive my ignorance, but I'm not at home to look at my 12 monkeys disc:
What's wrong with the old one? If I remember correctly it is already packed with tons of special features (docs, commentary, etc). Is it non-anamorphic perhaps? (i haven't watched it since I upgraded to large screen)
