at least now you don't have to take the trip out to the trash can to throw them away... he did you a favor I think.

Regardless of whose thread it is, I wouldn't let the freak in my house anymore. If he shows up at the door, close the friggin' door in his face. If his folks wanna know why, no problem, tell them why......the shit stole from your dad. Thats plenty good reason to not be welcome in someones' home, regardless of their income.

But who's counting! Cut his nuts off and be done with it!

You're from a blue state, aren't you?

warcp 12-20-04 06:25 PM

To put it to rest, it is, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice......... I cain't get fooled again."

mikewendt 12-20-04 06:30 PM

I get the same way when my brother loans out my discs...

My thoughts, take matters into your own hands...

Well my Dad said that he is planning to repurchase those two titles again, and be done with the whole situation. He is still fumming about everything, and has eluded to me that he will, "Never Loan out a DVD again". When I told my dad that he didn't really loan it, he just stole it. He responded to me by saying, "I know dammit, but he just ruined it for everyone". Its sad, but hey things can be replaced. Now if it were his 92" Rear Projection TV that was stolen.....I moved to Canada.

Yes, but not by choice! -ptth-

Maybe the Canadian invitation will create a huge sucking sound here! :D

I don't think 92" rear projection tvs exist. But I'd like to see one.

mikerodot78 12-20-04 06:56 PM

You are the one who should replace the DVDs. You knew that he stole $100 giftcard from your brother a few weeks earlier and you didn't notice he had 2 tins in his pants when he hugged you and said goodbye?

jessebo 12-20-04 07:19 PM

cremate him and stuff his remains in a disney treasures tin and bury him in the back yard and plant some corn. if he does that to family, noone will report him missing..

visitor Q 12-20-04 07:20 PM

Actually .. I would recommned arranging a meeting .. at his place. Go over there with a big sack, maybe even one of those huge hockey bags. As soon as you get past him, just start walking around and plopping all of his shit into the bag and see what he does ...? You can lead a horse to water, .. and you can soak the dumb shit in it too ...

Cameron 12-20-04 07:23 PM

if you don't get it back then your a punk....

i had someone steal a dvd from me a while back and it nearly got bad...my wife got the disc back before it got to rough....the person was never in my home again....it wasn't just because it was a dvd....you steal from me (or any other honest person) you deserve excommunication

Inform your aunt and uncle of your decision, spend $50-60 to replace the two titles, and move on.

This is what I would do.

Well today we are missing two Walt Disney Treasures collections. My dad is freakin' livid about this. He's cool if you want to borrow one, but take one(he knows where each one is located) and you don't want to meet him. It;s like Mr. Walker becoming Mr. Wheeler!!! What would you do in this semario.
The ones he stole were

1) Tomorrowland

2) Behind the Scences at the Walt Disney Studio

We know it was him because we did an inventory DVD check that day and all were accounted for. I hate thieves

i sell you mine,

200.00 each;)

emhello 12-20-04 07:34 PM

Is any of this even true?

Kumar J 12-20-04 07:49 PM

Thats why I don't show my collection to anyone.I keep them private. If a cousin ever did this to me, I would do 10 times more damage to him!If I were you I would go to his home and get his DVD player or computer and bring it back as hostage!
A thief is a thief no matter what and you better check if something else has been missing in the home since he been there!

Much to my amazement, apparently a great number of people responding in this thread believe it is.

C_Fletch 12-20-04 08:24 PM

Just go over to his place uninvited, preferably when he is gone, and steel something from his house. Turn about is fair play. Heck, take his gas cap from his car if he won't let you in. :)

Cameron 12-20-04 08:41 PM

my story was true...and for the record the dvd was return to oz...which i have not upgraded to the ugly cover disney version because its a trophy piece to me...like i got the bad guy

tylerwillis 12-20-04 08:48 PM

Here in Texas, we have a procedural recourse for just such an action.

It's called a "shotgun."

SFranke 12-20-04 08:54 PM

Three pages and no one suggested peeing in the cousin's butt?

 Back on page 1 I was going to suggest a "pee in the butt/donkey punch" combo but decided against it.
