Does anyone know when or IF the 1955 gritty high school classic "Blackboard Jungle" will be released?

I can't imagine that it <i>won't</i> show up eventually - I remember that it took quite a while for it to appear on VHS.

This movie was included in TCM's 2003 DVD Decision poll, but didn't make the final five, and it wasn't included again in the 2004 poll, so who knows what's up with it's release now.

Do you suppose a part of the problem for its release is the studio getting the rights to "Rock Around The Clock"?
