All but 4 of my 16 DVD backlog is in there now so we are really moving along. Glad to see things shaping up so well.

Just downloaded and installed the new version. No problems! And, to the people who have been asking if NOTES will transfer over into the new version - the answer is a definite YES! The Notes section is where I keep track of dates when I watch the DVD's. So, that's an important field for me NOT to lose!

I have the premium registration, it's nice. If you have any doubts, go ahead and pay for it, especially if you use it a bunch - it's the cheapest "good deal" you'll get most anywhere!

I've had this for a week and so far it's working pretty well. I love that my database is on my harddrive and just only online.

Just wish I had a scanner for the UPCs. Anyone know of a cheap one out there?

Most of the folks on the DVDProfiler boards recommend the Cue Cat scanner. It's only about $10 on eBay. Here's a thread about it.

I've been using the rating system. I just give it 4 stars if I've watched it and use the filter to weed them out.

I just wish you could filter by time! If I have 90 minutes to kill, I want to know what I can watch in that time frame.

Is there a way to check how much your collections is worth or stuff like where most of your purchases were made.

It asks you where you bought and how much you paid so I assume it's possiable. Just don't know how to do it.

Wow I can't believe myself. I've only got 50 DVDs and it's at $800... I'm scared...

I have been a prem. user for aa few years and I love DVDPRO. Unfortunately I am computer illierate. I have tried using the tags, but they don't(I don't) seem to work. I have asked for and received help from the DVDPro forum, but I need V E R Y simple directions on how to add my movie to the tags I have already made - ie - Hitchcock, Agatha Christie, Watched, etc.
Would someone please give me a bit of help?

Randy the easy way is to flag say all your Hitchcock movies, then go to the collection menu, then flagged, and then edit tags, that will open up another window and check Hitchcock box, hit ok and to check it our go to tags tab click Hitchcock and all your movies should show up.

And for your watched go to tools> users> make an account for yourself or whoever , and when you what to log it as watched just click on the TV icon and it will have the current date a just check the user.

well, I finally bit the bullet after years and registered. now its time to refresh all my coverscans which will probably take a day to d/l.
