I'm watching the TV version on USA right now and the editing is hilarious. I hope they include some of this stuff (if not the whole edit).

I'd have preferred a coverart closer to the Clerks X release. Ah well, I'll be picking this up without a doubt. Any date set yet? If so, I'll get around to selling my OOP copy.

When Kevin learned that U was going to re-release Mallrats--with or without him-- decided that he might as well hop on and add something new.

Kevin Smith will have to keep releasing Anniversary dvds if his movies continue to be crap. I am really getting sick of this guy (and I used to be one of his biggest fans). Maybe he ran out of material?

If you're getting sick of him, why'd you even come into this thread?
"Oh, gee I hate Family Guy.. let me scope out all the FG threads in TV talk."
Yeah, that makes sense.

Although this was nowhere near as lacking as the original Clerks disc (excellently made up for with the recent special edition), I'm sure a new transfer wouldn't hurt...and if there's gonna be a new transfer, why not new special features? Seems like a decent enough justification for another special edition.
And yes, I know that there are tons of other Universal titles that need remastering/a widescreen release/a release in the first place, but hey, I'll take a new Mallrats release, too.

And it's not like Smith put his movies OOP for years and only released altered cuts of his films in lieu of OT versions or waited until about eight years into the format to release his most cherished films on DVD. Please.

Cool, this will finally complete my Kevin Smith collection!
(True, I won't have Jersey Girl, but I saw that once, and that was more than enough.)
