Not sure... I just popped it into my PC and scanned through it. Those 2 particular portions of the credits do have a definite blue tint to them -- a tint that apparently wasn't there on the VHS/LD version. But it seems to be just those portions. No other part of the film does... and in general looks quite good.

I can only guess that they they didn't match the titles from the 2 editions (U.S. TV vs. international theatrical)... so there are color shifts when you directly compare the two.

Anyway, it looks great... don't worry that the whole film has a blue filter over it.

I don't remember what it looked like. I don't own the DVD yet and haven't seen this since it originally aired on TV.

I watched some of this last night. The added blue tint is because the scene is at night and he wanted to reflect that better. Overall i was very impressed with how sharp the image was. Some of the close-ups late in the movie were stunning. I didn't expect much at all from the transfer, but considering is was single layer, double sided, the transfer was excellent.

That's what I figured when I said it looked better. I thought it was because it was supposed to be night.

I think I can survive the trauma of the change.

Screw this, I am waiting for the digitally remastered Howard the Duck with new footage.

any homosexual with that much fur is definitely not an ewok. That'd be a "bear." Common knowledge.

I wonder if there were gay ewoks....hmm...

i always liked the ewok adventure. they went on a pretty good journey and the spider lair was cool.

now the battle for endor i thought was total crap, with power-ranger type acting and costumes.
