I do not care about extras. Enhanced anamorphic for all the releases is all I want.

Will the first movie be available separately, or do you have to buy the box set (ala Matrix)?

There are no commentaries and no extras on any of these discs except for the trailer (trailers in case of Rocky 1).

Since I don't own the A&E bonus disc, I don't have a clue what's on there.

The box set is available for pre-order. There are no single discs up for pre-order. Pretty good bet that you can't get the first one only, unless you go the eBay route.

I'm thankful that they're at least going to be available separately. That way I can pick up the new Rocky II to replace the old non-anamorphic version I gave to my Dad (He'll have to keep the old cover though, to maintain the panoramic spines), but at least he'll have the complete series in anamorphic. For me, I'm going to get the new box set and add in my Rocky SE. They better not turn around and release the Rocky Ultimate Edition next year or I'm going to have to beat on them like Drago vs. Creed.
