Boiler Room?

Have there been any rumblings around about a new Boiler Room release coming up? I would really like to pick this up, but don't want to get it, and then a new one come out. Or is there just no chance of this, and I should just go pick up the current disc. Thanks for any help.

I think it was re-released recently with a different cover or something, but not an SE.

Since I was the only person to see this in theaters, I'd say no.

There isn't a demand for a new disc and the current disc, like any other New Line DVD, has a great transfer and some decent extras. Sure, they could make an Infinifilm release and go behind the whole stock trading scene; but since Boiler Room came and went over four years ago, I say just pick up the current disc for $5 and call it a day.

I saw Boiler Room at Walmart today. They had the same DVD in both snapper and keepcase!

yup, New Line is slowly repackaging their movies from snappers to keepcases

Since this movie can be had for around $5 now, I think you should just pick it up and if there is a new release you can trade it into Blockbuster Video or some other store for $5 and you basically got a free rental.

My Walmart only had it in the snapper, but I bought it anyway. :(

easy solution. Buy a keepcase version at another store, then return your sealed snapper version to that store with your receipt.

Is there a list of titles this includes? I know of About Schmidt since I just picked that up.

Any of these yet?

Dark City
Life As A House
Pump Up the Volume
S1m0ne
Sweet Hereafter, The
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me

S1m0ne is in keepcase since it was released. Others are still in snapcase.

off the top of my head:
Austin Powers 1 & 2
Friday
Next Friday
Final Destination
Blade
Dumb & Dumber
The Wedding Singer
Boiler Room

I'm pretty sure that I'm missing some but it's late so I can't think of any right now.

Also, Simone & About Schmidt are New Line titles that have always been in Keepcases.

The Mask (which pisses me off, I have it in the crapper case :( )

btw guys, I went to 3 different walmarts and all of them had Boiler Room in the snapper case. So, I guess I'll just keep the snapper then.
