What version of The Terminal are you getting?

I cannot make up my mind. Will the two disk version be worth the extra money or not like the Mystic River three disk? Which one do you think I should get?

It comes down to how much you enjoy the extras.

If there's a choice, normally I'll go for the set with the extras... especially if it's a movie I've seen. Many times I won't have time to watch a movie (I don't like splitting a movie up between viewing times) so I'll throw a disc in and watch the extras.

The SE of The Terminal is actually a 3-disc set like Mystic River with the third disc being the soundtrack.

If I can find it at a decent price, I'll be picking up the 3-disc.

Well, since Williams work on The Terminal was stellar and I've been wanting to buy the soundtrack, this is a complete nobrainer.... 3discer.

I'll be waiting for the version that was the early Oscar contender I was promised back in July, lol.

Later.

While not as good as Spielberg's last three efforts, I still highly enjoyed the movie. It also helps that I have enjoyed the bonus material on Spielberg's last three efforts on DVD plus I loved Williams' score. So I'm going for the three-disc.

A movie-only edition of a Spielberg film in my collection? No thanks.

How was this movie? I like Tom Hanks but this title will like drop to the 2 for $20 or 2 for $15 bargains in six months.

I had really low expectations going into this based on the trailers and the premise of the film, so when I saw it, I found it to be slightly better than I'd expected. Overall, it was a weak film, but the lowered expectations definitely helped make it tolerable (along with the fact that I didn't actually pay to see it).

As a side note, my friend that saw it with me is a HUGE Spielberg fan and this is the only Spielberg film he hasn't liked.

I want to get the 3 disk, but I may wait a little bit to get it once the price comes down. $28 is the cheapest I see it for, and not sure if the extras are worth it IMO.

Assuming you mean "how" ... I haven't heard, but if past LEs are any means of comparison, I don't think it'll be very limited. The Dreamworks/Spielberg "limited" Saving Private Ryan was widely available for years and years. And only went OOP when it was replaced by a new (and BETTER) edition.

What a minute...so there's a one, two and three disc version out there? I only saw the 1 disc and the 3 disc with the 3rd disc being the soundtrack.

Also, not a ton of special features on the 2nd disc. I don't know why they couldn't fit it all on the 1 disc version.

BTW, are there any special features on the 1 disc? There's nothing on the back that lists special features.

You're right, there is only the one disc and the three disc. I thought that there was a 2 disc release but apparently, there isn't.

The one that comes in a nice keepcase. I didn't get the three disc one because it's a digipack. Plastic is more durable than carboard.

I bought the 3-disc, since I'm a marketing whore and worship at the altar of all things Spielberg, and I'm generally satisfied with my purchase, but WTF??? A three-disc limited edition monstrosity and Dreamworks couldn't include the f-in' trailers?!?!? What is Dreamworks' damn problem with trailers these days?
