Well, I got my Top Gun SE from Best Buy but no bonus "Best of the Best" DVD was included. When I ordered it, their website stated:
"Top Gun releases 12/14/04. Bonus disc will arrive with Top Gun and is available while supplies last."
I really don't care if I get the DVD or not, it's just the principle.

I had to search through all the copies at Bestbuy today to find a bonus disc- I was only able to fine one copy with iton my lunch break( Highland Ave in Phoenix location)

I'm going to go tomorrow morning to pick this up at BestBuy in Orlando, FL. Hopefully I'll land a bonus disk. Should be cool see a feature on the real top gun.

But whenever I want to get a bonus disc, I'll always go instore to get it. It's usually the easiest way to be sure you get one...unless you pre-order really early (which I've stopped doing).
I'm not rallying behind Best Buy, but just trying to come up with a plausible reason why you didn't get the bonus disc.

Picked up mine today (w/ bonus). Both the regular and bonus sets are mixed together, so look carefully. I was half-way in-line when I realized that I had the wrong one.

picked up mine today from best buy store. from previous experience i know to look for the little sticker on front that says: bonus disc included. i also pricematched the top gun from coconuts ($12.99). also an interesting sidenote, since i had ordered my matrix giftset (w/bust) online so i could use the $25 digital coupon from seinfeld. surprisingly they were out of stock on the constantine preview bonus disc at bb.com as they were in the store (i chose instore pickup). they (bb.com) shipped me out the constantine bonus disc for free. haven't got it yet but i got a shipping confirmation the other day. i'm a real junky for these bonus discs and i still check all the friday the thirteenth boxes every time i go to the store. they had one rocky anthology w/o the sticker about the bonus disc so i passed. gotta go back tomorrow to get the lotr:rotk giftset so i will check again on the rocky box.

Good luck finding one with it.
My BB only had the full screen version out and only 1 of those had the bonus disc.
THEN, I had to get someone to go in the back and dig through the boxes to find one with the bonus disc that was widescreen. Such a pain.
