The Rutles 2

Warner Home Video has announced The Rutles 2: Can't Buy Me Lunch for release on March 1st 2005. This sequel to the classic 1978 mockumentary reveals the final exploits of The Rutles as they embark on a reunion tour of America. The film stars Eric Idle and includes celebrity appearances from David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Tom Hanks, Steve Martin, Robin Williams, Jimmy Fallon, Conan O'Brien, Bill Murray and many more. The disc will feature a fullscreen transfer, with Dolby Digital stereo, and will be loaded with special features including a never-before-seen alternate ending. Retail will be $24.98.

To be honest, it's not that bad. A lot of it is amateurishly shot (Idle was on a tight budget and it shows), but the celeb interviews, particularly those of Tom Hanks and Billy Connolly, are well worth the price.
