BACKBEAT to be released as a SE soon....

http://www.whatgoeson.com/story.20041117.html Check it out. January 25th. Worth getting in my opinion. The only DECENT Beatles movie out there, aside from the crappy singing. They sound like Americans, not English... =p |
I'm assuming you mean the only decent movie ABOUT The Beatles - even then, I would argue that "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" is pretty good, too...
What's on this that isn't the recent "bare-bones" Universal disc (which actually had commentary, deleted scenes, etc...) I assumed that Uni just realized that they should go ahead and call the existing disc a 'special edition' |

But as for a movie where you needed actors playing the Beatles...this was the best one... ......... =/ |
Sweet looking forward to getting this one.

Like I said, it's a very good movie except for the fact that they got AMERICAN singers to sing the songs. So you have guys who are English, speaking in Liverpool accents, but singing in American ones...
It doesn't make much sense. LOL. |

Have you ever heard the beatles sing? They too sound like americans. They certainly don't sound like they are from liverpool, (except maybe the odd Ringo number)
|
That's true that the Beatles conveniently lost their accents when they sang. And Elvis ceased being a black man when he was shown on television (from the waist up, of course).

this thing ever got released in SE??
