Interesting SHORT CIRCUIT 1 mix up???
I recently sold my non-SE copy from Image to BBV for $8 since I only paid $4.99 for it at Fry's. Well today, I went to a local record shop who had a copy on sale for $3.99 so I thought I would pick it up since its so cheap and I love the film despite it not being the SE. Well I opened it up and what do you know... the disc was different than I remember it being in my old copy. The old one had the same image onthe disc as the cover, this one is just a solid color with no pictures. Okay, so i just put the disc in my player and it has commentary, isolated music track, 5.1, documentary, and so on. This is the SE right??? The box artwork is not the SE artwork which used to have a white box on the back with all the features.
Has anyone else run into this or is this something new thats going on????

Since you got it at a used store, someone just switched the discs so you got the OOP DVD in the new keepcase. Looks like you win cuz you don't have a snapper.
I also traded in my new Short Circuit which I got from DDD.com for $5.99 to BBV. I did this cuz someone traded in the OOP copy to BBV and it was $7.99 so I basically made $0.01 to trade in the barebones version for the SE.

Dang, thats cool news then. It was used in fact and thankfully the disc has 0 marks on it, its perfect. Thanks for the info. I figured that is what happened but maybe Image started doing the SE agian or something.

Hmmm now thats interesting. Does your SE have the right cover w/ the white box listing the extras on the back? I dont see why someone would have put an SE copy in an non Se box and then sold it.
