Any news on Wuthering Heights (1939)?

A search did not turn up anything. Is there any news of any type of release? The current DVD is out of print, is there anything on the horizon?

Does anyone know who has the R1 rights to all those classic Goldwyn films previoiusly released by HBO? (I know MGM has put out The Pride of the Yankees, but the rest seem to be MIA.) Along with Wuthering Heights, I'd buy Ball of Fire, Wonder Man and The Princess and the Pirate if they were reissued.

I believe MGM now owns the rights to all these films. They are taking their sweet time releasing them too. The titles they have released haven't been much improved upon from the HBO releases either.

It's out in Region 2 (UK) -- see here:

Review is unenthusiastic though.

although I have an all region player(a few of them), I'm holding out for a domestic release. I've wanted this so badly over the last few years that I almost grabbed the OOP disc. my gut is telling me to wait.

on the same day....I also hope to add the original Jane Eyre...which I've always enjoyed as part of a double-feature. yes...I'm holding onto my tapes until....because it's all I got.
