Actually it isn't a HD source. They are remastering the original vault material for a HD version.

Yes. And then the DVD will take this new HD transfer and downconvert it to SD for DVD. Since the current DVD format cannot display HD, this means the DVD transfer will be from an HD source. Sorry if I somehow worded my post improperly.

I don't think the one you linked to is signed. It may not even be numbered but not entirely sure on that. I actually forgot about this thread. I saw that the link to deepest black website shows the price having gone back up to $29.99.

edit...After reading some earlier threads the dvd at DDD is actually different. Apparently newly remastered...cool! Anamorphic widescreen at a decent price = sold!

I am ready to trade in a signed one for a much better version. Just sad it is this much better and that I spent so much on it.

I email deepestblack.com for the price of shipping a couple of months ago when it was 19.99 and the store put the price up the next day, and never got back to me until 3 later. I email them asking why their put the price up and their told me their only had 3 left and gave me a link to their EBay auction, I still have the email CROOKS.

I email Terry Lofton and he was very nice, but in the end he did not get back to me with the cost of postage to send the disc to me. I decided to wait for the cheaper upcoming disc in the end.
