Arrested Development DVD Set Questions
 

Ok, Im about halfway rewatching the first season of Arrested Development, this time on DVD. Theres a couple things Ive noticed that Im kinda confused about.

Disc 2, "Storming the Castle": the "Available in FOX Widescreen High Resolution Digital TV" banner shows up after the opening credits...wtf? It doesnt show up on any other episodes Ive watched, just here, and I cannot remember a single episode on any DVD set where these type of logos actually appeared. How did this happen.

Commercial breaks: when this show aired, when they went to break, they dissolved to white, then black popped up for the commercial...then they started in white when they came back from break. I always assumed on the DVD set that it would just dissolved to white and then back to the show, but thats not the case...it actually has a brief flash of black between the white. Am I nitpicking? Yes....I just find this very odd.

Seems like we got to the heart of this matter.

If that Fox widescreen logo bothers you, prepare for some more pain. There is at least one more. It is a little odd, but shouldn't get in the way of your enjoyment.
