When will two color technicolor classics surface on DVD??

I have posted several similar threads, but very rarely has anybody bothered to post a reply. I'm interested in the early two color technicolor movies such as Warner Bros Dr X/ Mystery of The Wax Museum, and Universal's King of Jazz.

Do any forum readers know of plans for Warner to release Dr X/Mystery on DVD, particularly as Fay Wray has just recently passed away?

Mystery of the Wax Museum has been on DVD for some little while, a double header with House of Wax; Warners have done a fine job with both - see here.

Yes I have that one, it is a good transfer, however I wanted them together on one DVD as on a previous laserdisc release!

No, it's not a question of that. Warners have already stuck it out there in the market and they are hardly likely to do so again in a different double header in the forseeable future simply because it wouldn't be economically viable for them to do so - we've already bought it... :)

King Of Jazz

Doh!! Homer Simpson moment!! What about the two color technicolor King Of Jazz, starring Paul Whiteman's band and amongst others Bing Crosby, from Universal ?

Not a sniff...
