Universal has officially announced romantic comedy Wimbledon which stars Paul Bettany alongside Kirsten Dunst. The disc will be available to own from the 28th December this year, and should retail at around $29.98. The film will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen along with English Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS 5.1 and French Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. Extras will include an audio commentary with director Richard Loncraine and actor Paul Bettany, a Wimbledon: A Look Inside featurette, a Welcome to the Club featurette, a Ball Control featurette and a Coach a Rising Star featurette. Completing this new package will be the theatrical trailer and some DVD-ROM features which have yet to be confirmed.

A DTS track and a theatrical trailer? From Universal? ;)

That was quick, but it's fine by me. I thought this was a very good romantic comedy sports flick, and I'll definitely be picking it up. Glad it has a DTS track, as I remember it had some pretty good audio in the theater (a lot better than most romantic comedies).

Just watched this movie, and can confirm that it looks and sounds FANTASTIC!!

The dts track is awesome - some of the surround effects superb. Great movie, Kirsten is smokin' hot.

One for me to keep, deffo....
