The Best Buy Bonus Disc promotions?
Best Buy has issues several bonus disc promotions for movies like Master and Commander, Day After Tomorrow, Punisher, and Paycheck to name a few.
Do they have major deals with the movie studios since you don't see Circuit City or Target offering bonus discs?
Not that I want to see other stores offer the same promotion.

Other stores do offer similar promotions, though Best Buy definitely seems to do it the most. Wal-Mart had an exclusive third disc with the recent "Anniversary Edition" of Field of Dreams. I know Circuit City had a bonus disc with Die Another Day a while back. I am not sure of all of them, but retailers other than Best Buy have had promotional bonus discs...though Best Buy seems to have the most....

Borders/Waldenbooks had an exclusive deal with Viz for a special 3-d lenticular cover of the first Inu Yasha movie, and they also had an exclusive box with figure for vol. 19 of the Inu Yasha manga.

You are right - normally they are not. However, the new Ultimate Jordan set comes with a bonus disc at Best Buy - the complete 1988 Slam Dunk Competition. Oh yes. A must own for me.
