Alright, so I'm only just now starting to collect the original Law & Order series... I see the first two seasons are out, plus season 14. I want to collect these in chronological order though so, anybody know when we might see more of the original series, specifically, season three of it, on dvd?

Your guess would be as good as mine. I know they released S14 in conjunctioin with Jerry Orbach's departure and subsequent spin-off. But as for the balance of the season discs, I wish I knew.

It took them forever to release season 2.Maybe they will be faster with season 3 and so on.

My recommendation would be to get all the ones currently available. They are all great shows, and since continutity is not an issue, it doesn't spoil anything to get it. Every little bit helps, and the more S14 sells, the better they will continue the releases.

Since it is not a serial show (i.e. it is a self contained drama), there really is no reason not to pickl up S14 anyway, even though it is not in order.

No word on subsequent seasons yet. Can't wait!

Yeah, they need to pick up the pace on these. Releasing S14 just a few months after airing was stupid (IMHO). I'd much rather get seasons 3+ going... since it's been much longer since I've seen those.

What sucks the most is that S4-S10 are my favorites and the only ones I want. These will be the last to come out given their crazy methodology of releases.
