Wow, four seasons before Thanksgiving??? I wish studios would just release entire series in one shot, but this is a step in the right direction!

Geofferson 10-15-04 09:14 AM

Glad to hear it!

scarredgod 10-15-04 09:40 AM

great news about the Brady Bunch finally hitting DVD, too bad its Paramount, i expect barebones. it would have been sweet to get commentaries by the Bradys.

djones6746 10-15-04 10:00 AM

Must buys for me!!! Have loved this show since I started watching them in the seventies. :)

ken_572002 10-15-04 10:16 AM

What an aggressive schedule!

Looks like I'll be able to see the Brady's visit the Grand Canyon and Hawaii next year...

Cornholio 10-15-04 10:31 AM

yeah that is an aggressive schedule

tommy28 10-15-04 11:49 AM

have the movies been released??

and if so-how are they?

LasVegasMichael 10-15-04 11:58 AM

Glad to hear the agressive schedule. Of course, we can expect nothing more then bare-bones releases, but something is certainly better then nothing! Lokking forward to getting all of them!

If you are referring to the movies from the 90s, then the answer is yes, they were released a while back. if yo uare referring to the reunion movies like Very Brady Christmas, then no, not yet.

Here is a review for the first one:

people have actually been looking forward to this?

i was just enjoying the fact (up until reading this) that I am alive during a younger generation that has absolutely no idea what the hell the Brady Bunch is andhow thankful I am of that

JupiterPrime, threadcrapping is against the forum rules. If you aren't interested in the movie being discussed, then just don't post in the thread.

Excellent news! I've never seen these shows uncut. I'm very much looking forward to this set.

When I saw the thread title I thought all of them were going to announce that they are gay. :D

I just saw them on VH1 sitting around a Brady Bunchish living room discussing the show. Not sure how old it was. Anyway, none of them seem to hate what made them famous. I would think they could do some excellent commentaries.

Although I agree on the commentaries, I wouldn't be so quick to say that they are all thrilled with the subsequent typecasting. Some are just less vocal then others.

Barry Williams (Greg) is the one most happy with their curent situation, with his book, made for Tv movies, and the music sales, he is the only one that really turned his character/typecast into a lifelong career.

Check out Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star for the music video at the end. The lines from the Brady boys, and best of all, the Maureen McCormick (Marcia) cameo are absolute classics!

The only line that Maureen McCormick (Marcia) has in the film, sung in the video is:

Spoiler:
"...If one more person calls me Marcia, I will break their fucking neck."

Absolute classic!

Nope, just Robert Reed.

Tentative dates:

Season 1: Feb
Season 2: May
Season 3: August 23
Season 4: November 22

Season 5 will be in 2006, probably in January.

William Fuld 10-20-04 12:40 PM

Since commentaries are probably unlikely, it'd be cool if they'd include the "pop-up" episodes that ran on TVLand awhile back.

Tarantino 10-20-04 01:49 PM

Although I dig the show once in a while, I don't think I'll be picking it up.
