Alien Quadrilogy Question
I got the Quad box last winter and still have my individual discs for Alien and Aliens. I think I may keep the original Alien 20th Anniversary edition just for isolated score. Is there anything unique extras on the original single-disc "Aliens" release to warrant keeping that one also?

I believe there is a 12-minute interview w/James Cameron that didn't convert over, as well as some minor behind-the-scenes clips and photo gallery shots that may or may not have transferred over. I'm not 100% sure on any of these, but hopefully, someone can confirm or discredit my assertion.
Oh, and just because I have to:
Come on Aleien, well I swear (what he means)
At this moment, you mean everything...

The Jim Cameron interview and behind-the-scenes footage are included in the 9th disc of the Quad (it is segmented along the Aliens LD supplement).
Good call on keeping the orignal Alien disc as it also contains a great solo commentary from Ridley Scott (as opposed to the cast/crew commentary on the Quad, which is quite good, but not as good as Scott by himself).

I've still got my Legacy set somewhere too...(don't know where, can't seem to find it, looked for it the other day, matter of fact...for the keepcases themselves for custom covers.)
The Alien Quad set is something spectacular. Although I'm not a huge fan of these movies, I like them enough to own them and this wonderful 9-disc set. In fact, I had probably 2 versions of them on VHS. The original art design for Alien to Alien 3. And then when Fox started putting out those special widescreen clamshell deals.
I went through the extras on both the Legacy and Quad sets, and quite frankly I couldn't tell ya which extras were or weren't on each set. Just too many on the Quad to keep straight.

In this case, though, it might just be a typo.

Now compare that same bolded area of this thread to the mod-changed title. They're different.

There is at least one deleated scene on the old disc that is not on the quad. It's the one where the Alien "crab walks" over to lambert. If it is on the quadrilogy, I haven't found it...the only reason I know this is because for some reason that's one of my favorite deleted scenes of all time.
