Layer Change Occurences
 

I finally got my set from Amazon today. I stuck ANH disc into my Daewoo 5700 all region player and went straight to the chapter that had the layer change glitch. Glad to say I ran this chapter over and over for about 5 times to see if the player could handle the layer change and it did. In fact you have to look very hard to notice it on my player.

I'm trying to get the exact layer change times on ESB and ROTJ. If anyone could help me out with this it would be appreciated.

I skipped through all the discs watching a few bits here and there and found none of the errors described. I will watch them all the way through to confirm that its error free by the weekend but so far...so good.

You'll never be 100% sure....

I usually notice layer changes as my Sony player doesn't handle them great, but I didn't notice them on any of the SW DVDs.

The layer change in ESB occurs in the middle of chapter 27, time 58:02.

The layer change in ROTJ occurs at the start of chapter 22, time 1:02:38.

(It helps having a DVD player that reports the layer change in its display ;))
