Anyone own ST:TNG Seasons 1-7 Chinese box set?

Has anyone gotten the Star Trek: TNG seasons 1-7 Chinese box sets? How is picture, sound etc? Any reason NOT to get the set? Thanks!

Hahaha.

Reasons not too purchase... they're probably bootlegs.

Good luck getting most of the discs to work.

Check out this thread for similar thoughts... Thread: X-Files Question

Of course, if they're not bootlegs, I don't know what to tell you.

Don't get them. You get what you pay for! Spend extra and get the authentic Region 1 DVDs off of eBay, if they even are out there. Last time I looked for my last season of TNG all I could find were the Asian bootlegs.

They are bootlegs and inferior to the original in every possible way.

There is a reason they are so cheap. You will notice there are so many, most people see where they ship from and look away. Stay away from them.

I wasted money on these & my advice is stay away! Half the dvds didn't play on an older player & one didn't even play at all. Even worse, in order to fit everything on the discs, the end of at least 1 episode per disc is cut-off. That means you don't see the last 5-10 minutes of 1 in every four episodes. On the rest there are sporadic sound and picture issues as well.

Bottom line, even if the fact that you're buying bootlegs doesn't prevent you from getting these, their poor quality should.
