i used to like this show when i was younger, and just bought season 1 on dvd a few months ago. Well when i bought it they were gonna release from what i heard all the seasons, then reading on different oards they say it is pulled and will not be releasing them. Has anyone heard this?

Very Good Question

Where did you read they wouldn't be released? I know it was supposed to be released on 11/16 but was bumped. I never heard why though. If this isn't going to be released at all, I am going to be hella sad. I really love this show.

Season 2 was "tentatively" scheduled for November 16th (check TVShowsOnDVD.com for the news), but then pulled. It's still coming, just not this year... probably early 2005.

I really hope they hurry up and this doesn't turn into a Twin Peaks type fiasco. Quick releases, at least 2 a year, and I'll be happy!

About a Week ago, I emailed Sony again, and they told me "Hopefully Summer 2005." They went on to say that the first season didn't sell nearly as many copies as they expected (which means we might be entering Mad About You territory).

If it does, hopefully Matt Millheiser will be there to review it.

 And thanks, I think...

Let's hope Sony doesn't massively compress the episodes like they did for Season 1. That was a real shame. It may have kept the retail price point at or below $50, but the episodes looked like crap on my monitor.

Considering how they are dragging their feet about getting the future seasons out because of low sales, I doubt there going to do anything to a) make the cost higher to make the discs or b) have a higher MSRP. But we are actually pretty lucky with the PO5 Discs considering they only have 5 episodes per disc where as dawson's Creek has 6 episodes per disc, and mad about you had 12 Half-Hour.
