ICEMAN dvd: Full Frame Only?
I have read Universal's upcoming dvd release of ICEMAN is going to be FULL FRAME only.

Can anyone confirm this?

It would be a shame not to have this movie in the WIDESCREEN format.

If Universal can release THE FUNHOUSE in the letterbox format, certainly they can do the same for this film.

I just heard about this today. I'm truly disgusted with Universal not releasing this in widescreen. The film was shot wide at 2.35:1 for chrissakes!

You atlking about the Timothy Hutton ICEMAN ? That was great flick. It would be a shame if they released it in Full Screen....

Apparently, the upcoming Universal COLOSSUS: FORBIN PROJECT (also 2.35:1) will also be fullframe.

What's really outrageous about these two titles being released full frame only is that Universal recently announced DC CAB(!) and GHOST DAD(!) in anamorphic WIDESCREEN. Go figure...

Does anyone else ever wonder who actually makes these
stupid-a** decisions?
