Well, I'm glad I got the LE Box set now. (Through a trade, so no money out of my pocket really). My wife really likes the set actually...she likes the mug and magnet frame.

Anyways, great set....I actually had another one, but returned it to the store.

i was doing a small comparison between the PQ of the old version and the new version last night, and noticed that the new SE version has the picture re-framed slightly higher so heads weren't cropped as often. not a big deal, as it didn't seem to affect the movie in any big way. but some of the bottom details were sacrificed for the visibility of the top. i wish i have some pics to post at the moment (but i'm in the office now, haha). wonder if this re-framing was intentional by Mr. Judge himself?

I wonder what the re-imagined final act was.

Bestbuy.com removed the sales section of the Office Space Limited Edition

Bill Needle 11-07-05 01:45 PM

After checking and rechecking sales figures, Fox Home Entertainment spokesperson Steve Feldstein murmurs, "Huh, interesting, very interesting. [Deep pause of disbelief] Well, Office Space is in the top 30 best-sellers of what we've ever released on DVD. Wait, no. Top 25. Wait, top 20...I could tell you what it outsold, but I'd get shot for it," says a clearly stunned Feldstein.

And that was for a barely serviceable non-anamorphic bare-bones release.

I just called bestbuy.com after seeing they put the box set back up for sale. They said they have about 15 more left. So if anyone needs them grab them now. Just a heads-up.

Anyone? Comparison to older UK version? Video quality only, obviously the new extras are better.

Has anyone read of any mixups with the packaging of the discs? I bought the widescreen edition and when I got home and watched it the movie is presented in full screen. But the box says widescreen on it.

I have never seen a more insecure guy. Judge has major issues. I'm just glad he didn't go back and edit stuff out of the movie.

I saw someone here or at HTF say the one they got said Widescreen on the outer slipcase, but the keepcase inside the slipcase was "fullscreen." Looks like a batch of them were probably packaged wrong at the warehouse. Probably want to try returning it where you bought it to exchange it for a true WS one.

Stevo7 11-19-05 03:20 PM

Well, I looked and the actual Disc says Widescreen. Could it be that my tv is messed up?

have you set your menu to ws on a 4: 3 display...take the disc out of the player and go into the menus..
