Star Trek TNG boxsets have dropped in price....why?

Went into Futureshop and saw the season sets for $99 each. That's a $30 - $60 price drop. Is this because new sets are coming out or they've finally realised that the sets are too expensive? Too bad Voyager wasn't in that price range.

They lower the prices on items after they're reasonably sure that I've already purchased them.

Yeah I know that feeling. For a purchase this big (7 sets), I'm torn to either buy them now or wait until HD comes out.

Yeah I know that feeling. For a purchase this big (7 sets), I'm torn to either buy them now or wait until HD comes out.
These are sourced off NTSC video. Don't expect an HD version any time soon.
