DVD Extras

Most of the sites I use to purchase new DVD's are seriously lacking when it comes to listing any 'extras' that might be included on a dvd. What do you find it the best site to get this information? And if anyone says Amazon, I'll break both their legs. That is the WORST place in the market to get any info.

Instead of consulting e-tailers, try taking a look at DVD reviews. There's DVD Talk's reviews, of course, and DVD Basen is a quick way to search reviews across many of the better known DVD sites.

If you're strictly looking for specs and don't want to skim through the text of a review, try DVD Empire or DVD Planet. If nothing else, you can generally look at a scan of the back of the case.

Reviews don't come out 'before' the title is released, for the most part, so there's not much point there. Yes, I've been to Empire and Planet, and they are better than Amazon, but not by much. I'm looking for info on dvd's that are scheduled to be releases in October, November, etc.

Sometimes that info is simply not available months prior to release. Those sites mentioned are pretty good once DVDs are shipping.
