Anybody watching these with a "lazy eye"?
By that I mean, because most of us have seen these movies so many times, has the joy in watching these lessened? I find myself kind of drifting off, or at the very least not paying that close attention to what's on screen.
Quite frankly, I'm just watching them to see how much the transfer has improved.
Just finished all three films, and quite frankly, Jedi looked the least bit tampered with. Oh yeah, it's clearer due to DVD resolution, but as for over-all restoration, it doesn't look a whole lot different (asided from f/x clean-ups) than it did 20 years ago which says a lot for the original '83 print.

Actually, I have enjoyed watching these DVDs far more than I ever thought I would. I fully expected to kind of just sit there like a zombie and bitch and moan about all of the changes, but none of them bothered me at all. I felt like a kid again. Most enjoyable time I have had with any DVD's in quite some time.

Agreed. I've had much more fun watching these than I thought I would. I haven't cared too much about the changes either, and haven't been as "militant" about it as I was in the past. (Of course, alcohol may have played a part in that too.) I know saying this is close to blasphemy on this board, but there it is.
Overall, I'd say we have an excellent set on our hands.

I haven't focused on the changes, because quite honestly, a lot of them aren't noticable unless you've seen the films countless times or are looking for them.
