My Plastic wrapping is thick!

anyone else.?

habers 09-22-04 08:49 PM

had the same problem, wish they would have made the box thicker instead of the plastic wrapping that you throw away

josuff247 09-22-04 08:49 PM

Me too! I had to use a scissor

And I thought this thread belonged in the Mature Talk Forum....

Green Jello 09-22-04 09:46 PM

Anyone else get the feeling that since we have a Star Wars DVD forum now, the threads are getting a little ridiculous?

No kidding! I'm waiting for a thread about the UPC being in a bad location.

dgc 09-23-04 12:55 AM

It was so thick, I had to microwave the plastic off my set.

Jackskeleton 09-23-04 01:03 AM

Can we get rid of this sub forum now. I think it "jumped the shark"

Perhaps that wasn't the best of ideas.

Yay, lets show them that we can actually make threads that show this sub forum is of use instead of pissing it away and complaining when they don't give us a sub forum again.

Aww c'mon, let the kids have their fun. The SW excitement will all blow over in a week or so anyway and we can all go back to arguing over Criterion disks or Dolby vs DTS like good little DVD drones.

TomOpus 09-23-04 07:05 AM

Okay, as a serious thought in a non-serious thread....

I'm actually glad the plastic is thick. I could see a thinner plastic tearing easily and the box artwork getting scratched.

Josh H 09-23-04 09:44 AM

Yeah, I had to use a knife, and ended up cutting my finger. That's what I get for cutting toward myself. :D

ksgemini 09-23-04 03:33 PM

Actually, it was a genuine pain if you wanted to check the discs for scratches in the parking lot as I sometimes do now(after several Fox TV set scratched discs) and didnt have anything sharper than keys...

nodeerforamonth 09-23-04 03:41 PM

Use a lighter to burn it off. It works! Really!

MEJHarrison 09-23-04 04:29 PM

Mine was think too. But I had already forgotten after I took 2 seconds to remove it for the first and only time. :D

fumanstan 09-23-04 04:43 PM

It was thick, but i poked a whole through it with a pen in my car and got through it just fine.

asianxcore 09-23-04 04:45 PM

no problem scissors didn't fix :)

calhoun07 09-23-04 05:12 PM

What? Is the OP 90 years old? Who complains about the thickness of PLASTIC WRAP!
