Napoleon Dynamite - December 21st
 

Hey all. Just got news today from my vendor this title will hit December 21st. I didn't see a post anywhere regarding this...so hopefully its new info.

Great news. Any idea on special features? If you want to borrow any of my skills you can. I'll have to pick this up for my girlfriend, or maybe I'll build her a cake.

Awesome news. My friend Angela, who was one of the people I went to the theater to watch it with, and I both said we were going to buy this the day it came out.

Now I'll tell her it's coming out on Dec. 21st. (Could be a good Christmas present for those that enjoyed the movie.)

My lips hurt real bad, but I'll certainly be picking up this frigin' sweet DVD on the first day... between this and Garden State a week later, December is going to be almost as cool as D-Kwon's Dance Grooves.

I wonder if it will include a coupon to attend a Rex-Kwando class.

I wish they included the short film Jon Heder did that I think was similar to this it had Pedro but Napoleon's name was different.

The short film is called Peluca. Its supposed to be one of the reasons that Jared Hess was able to make Napoleon Dynamite. Its basically a very very short version of Napoleon Dynamite, except Napoleon's name is Seth. I think Napoleon is a much better suited name for the character because it's a more eccentric name and Jon Heder's character is definitely eccentric. I wish they included the short film on the dvd, but its probably not going to happen.

Great movie, I'll be picking this one up!

There's a DVD I've seen a ton of on E-bay which has a bunch of shorts, including 'Peluca'. Is this a legitimate release? I had figured the short would be on this disc, so I never gave it much attention, but I am curious about the short and might want to pick up the disc (which is waaaay too expensive at the moment) if it's the only place to get this.

That's pretty awesome.
