DVD Skipping problem (help)
 

On my Bride of Re-Animator DVD, it starts to skip pretty badly about 10 minutes before the end of the movie on my Philips 727. But when I put the disc into my PS2, it doesn't skip. Is this just a problem with the player (needs cleaning?),or some other problem. any help would be appreciated.

Did you try cleaning the disc, then trying it again?

yes just lightly, then put it back in both players, same result.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but this is the Pioneer version of the movie, theatrical matte, unrated.

Been there...
 

If the disc plays well on your PS2, it's most likely your DVD player that is the problem. You could take the disc to friend or the library to verify that it is OK.
